Sopwith Propellor Cufflinks

Sopwith Propellor Cufflinks
Inspired by the legendary WWI Sopwith Camel plane these stunning cufflinks add some serious style to any cuff.
The Sopwith Camel was a British single-seat bi-Plane introduced into WWI in 1917. Manufactured by the Sopwith Aviation Company, it had a heavy, powerful rotary engine the BR1 and BR2 developed by Walter Owen Bentley prior to the start of his Motor company, these powered a single propeller. The plane although difficult to handle, proved very reliable and to an experienced pilot it provided very good manoeuvrability and the Camel was credited with shooting down 1,294 enemy aircraft, more than any other Allied fighter of the conflict.
These highly detailed cufflinks celebrate this great plane and WO Bentleys very first engineering success, they are made from aircraft grade aluminium. With internal ball bearings the black cooling blades move as the highly polished rose gold blades spin round. Even the rivets and joining panels have been laser detailed to the highest precision on the outer aluminium cases.
